La Red de Entidades para el Desarrollo Solidario-REDES ha iniciado la celebración de su XX Aniversario con un encuentro de las personas de sus organizaciones socias en el espacio O’Lumen de los dominicos en Madrid.
Momento de reencuentros de las personas que iniciaron en 2003 este sueño de que las entidades de desarrollo de las congregaciones caminaran juntas, como Moisés Martín o Javier Ojeda, junto a las que han ido tomando el relevo en estos veinte años. Acompañaron la ocasión Jesús Miguel Zamora, Secretario General de Confer, Mari Fran Sánchez, de la Comisión de Trata de la CEE y Pepe Postigo, de la Coordinadora de ONG, junto a representantes de las organizaciones de Enlázate por la Justicia.
La presidenta de REDES, Silvia Sanchis, recordó en su saludo que las entidades que iniciaron este camino en 2003 “fueron capaces de dar de sí lo suficiente como para generar vida más allá de sí mismas, y empezar a entenderse desde otros paradigmas: un trabajo en red y un modo de entenderse en alianza.”
El periodista, poeta y editor Miguel Ángel Vázquez presentó el encuentro y la mesa redonda en la que J. Ojeda compartió con J. Luis Gutiérrez, voluntario de Karit-Solidarios por la Paz y miembro del equipo de Incidencia Política, y Rebeca Collado, directora de Spínola Solidaria y miembro de la Junta Directiva de REDES. Personas voluntarias, equipo técnico, laicas y religiosas tejen este proyecto que quiere seguir creciendo para dar respuesta al grito de las personas descartadas y de la Casa Común. Rebeca destacaba que en el contexto actual “REDES tiene más sentido que nunca”. Javier y José Luis insistieron en que REDES es un espacio para vivir la fe y sentirse Iglesia, comunidad de comunidades podemos decir en el espíritu sinodal tan marcado de estos días
Con motivo de esta fecha, REDES premió la trayectoria de la fotoperiodista Ana Palacios, por poner su profesionalidad al servicio de la transformación social, como ha mostrado su reciente exposición La habitación de juegos que sigue moviéndose por España. Al recibir el premio, Ana compartió que este reconocimiento da sentido a la soledad que se siente a veces en lugares remotos, entrevistando a personas con historias humildes y heróicas, lejos de los focos. “Si estoy aquí arriba, es porque alguien ha recibido mis mensajes”. E insistía en poner en valor el trabajo de tantas congregaciones en esos lugares.
Y el proyecto Huerto Hermana Tierra, impulsado por Sercade, fue reconocido entre las diversas iniciativas sociales que las entidades socias de REDES presentaron. Se trata de una iniciativa en la que las personas migrantes son agentes de sensibilización hacia una economía justa y sostenible. En la concesión de este premio participaron más de 12.000 personas a través de la web, junto a un jurado que destacó la enorme diversidad de enfoques y estrategias para transformar nuestra sociedad que mostraban las iniciativas presentadas.
La celebración contó con la música del intérprete guineano Aboubacar Syla, porque la voz de África sigue siendo una referencia para este camino en red. La comida compartida fue ofrecida por el colectivo migrante Tómate Algo, de la Red Interlavapiés.
La celebración del Aniversario tendrá su momento público en la fiesta del 22 de octubre en la Pza del Reina Sofía en Madrid, dentro de la Semana por la Erradicación de la Pobreza.
