Este 8 de marzo, desde REDES ONGD reivindicamos más que nunca la consecución de una igualdad real para todos los colectivos de mujeres. Creemos que las acciones para lograrlo, deben partir de una perspectiva feminista interseccional, que no deje a nadie atrás y reconozca la desigualdad de oportunidades y las diferentes discriminaciones y opresiones que pueden sufrir las mujeres. Huimos del término “Mujer” en singular, para hablar de “Mujeres” reconociendo así las diversas realidades por las que se ven atravesadas dependiendo de la etnia, la clase social, la orientación y/o identidad sexual. Queremos recordar que un enfoque feminista supone cuestionar las causas profundas y estructurales de la desigualdad y de las opresiones de las poblaciones que se encuentran en mayor vulnerabilidad. Y reivindicar que el feminismo, hoy más que nunca, debe ser un movimiento político, social, académico, económico y cultural, pero también plural, que busque crear conciencia y condiciones para transformar las relaciones sociales y eliminar cualquier forma de discriminación o violencia contra las mujeres y niñas.
Este año, basándonos en la perspectiva previamente mencionada queremos alinearnos con el lema de ONU MUJERES, y reivindicamos “Invertir en las mujeres, acelerar el progreso”, destacando las cinco áreas en las que Naciones Unidas incide este 2024:
- Invertir en las mujeres, una cuestión de derechos humanos: Se explicita que la igualdad de género continúa siendo uno de los mayores retos por conseguir y es crucial recordar que los avances en cuestión feminista con beneficiosos para todo el mundo
- Acabar con la pobreza: debido al precedente que la pandemia por COVID19 marca y la existencia a día de hoy de la feminización de la pobreza, se estima que 342 millones de mujeres y niñas podrían vivir en una situación de precariedad extrema.
- Poner en marcha un financiamiento transformador para la igualdad de género: los recortes que los países mantendrán en 2025 debido a los conflictos políticos actuales y el incremento de combustibles y alimentos repercutirá negativamente principalmente en las mujeres al reducirse el gasto público en servicios esenciales, de cuidados y protección social.
- Avanzar hacia el desarrollo sostenible y una sociedad de cuidado: desde el movimiento eco-feminista se aboga por avanzar hacia una sociedad de los cuidados que permita luchar contra el cambio climático, preservando así el medio-ambiente y la sostenibilidad.
- Apoyar los feminismos que impulsan el cambio: las organizaciones feministas no reciben la suficiente financiación pública, no llegando ni a un 0,14% de la ayuda oficial para el desarrollo y aun liderando la lucha contra la pobreza y la desigualdad de las mujeres.
Además, desde REDES ONGD, donde se aboga por un movimiento feminista cristiano, resulta pertinente recordar las acciones de “La revuelta de las Mujeres en la Iglesia”, presentando bajo este epígrafe un movimiento de mujeres cristianas católicas que viene actuando desde 2020, aunque muchas mujeres integrantes del mismo ya habían reivindicado objetivos similares desde el movimiento “Somos iglesia” de los años 90.
El primer año se convocaron movilizaciones en 5 ciudades españolas y este año 2024 han sido 25 las ciudades que se han sumado a los actos de protesta en catedrales y templos significativos para hacer visibles sus reivindicaciones, sus reflexiones y trabajos. El lema que convoca: “Hasta que la igualdad se haga costumbre en la Iglesia.”
