Nos encontramos en la última semana de trabajo del Sínodo para la Amazonía. Se entregaron los informes de los círculos menores y los participantes afrontan, en oración y reflexión, el camino hacia el documento final.
En la Carpa de la Casa Común se suceden multitud de eventos abiertos que muestran las diversas realidades del mosaico amazónico. El pasado jueves Jaime Palacio presentó ahí la campaña Amazonízate del Vicariato de Yurimaguas y todo lo que el proceso sinodal ha generado en la población, con la conciencia de que “el Señor está sanando la tierra“.
Mañana lunes en el mismo foro se presentará un conversatorio del Centro Amazónico de Antropología y Aplicación Práctica (CAAAP). Este espacio se creó hace casi 50 años para compartir reflexiones e iniciativas en las distintas diócesis amazónicas del Perú sobre derechos humanos de los pueblos originarios, gobernabilidad y participación ciudadana, interculturalidad y desarrollo democrático y pastoral socio-ambiental. En el CAAAP participan distintas congregaciones a las que están vinculadas las socias de REDES.
Durante su presencia en Roma, Jaime también representará a REDES en los encuentros del Eje Internacional de la REPAM. Por otra parte, la Red Eclesial de la Selva de la Cuenca del Congo (REBAC, por sus siglas en francés) está organizando varios encuentros en la Carpa de la Casa Común para mostrar los avances en esta red que afronta enormes retos en un escenario si cabe más convulso que el de la Amazonía.
REDES se siente interpelada por todas estas iniciativas. Para responder continuamos formándonos e invitando a más entidades a sumarse al trabajo en nuestros distintos grupos.
