Enlázate por la Justicia ha publicado una Nota de Prensa para informar de la visita a España de la Caravana Latinoamericana por la Ecología Integral, que mantendrá del 3 al 6 de abril diversos encuentros con entidades eclesiales y del resto de la sociedad civil. Esta caravana se compone de líderes de las comunidades afectadas por explotaciones mineras en Latinoamérica, encabezados por Monseñor Vicente Ferreira, representante de la Comisión de Ecología de la Conferencia Nacional de Obispos de Brasil y obispo de la diócesis en la que se encuentra Brumadinho, tristemente conocido por el desastre socioambiental que provocó 272 muertes en 2019.
Esta caravana está visitando estos días Austria, Alemania, Italia y Bélgica, donde están manteniendo encuentros eclesiales de alto nivel para denunciar estas situaciones y proponer una economía samaritana, respetuosa con la vida y la Creación, no centrada en el lucro. Un escenario necesario para esta transformación es la aprobación en España y Europa de leyes de Diligencia Debida que obliguen a las empresas a respetar los Derechos Humanos y el medio ambiente.
